Brooklyn resident Viktoria Nasyrova is lucky to be alive. After accepting a gift of poisoned cheesecake, she began to feel ill. A friend later found her unconscious and surrounded by scattered pills, as if she had apparently attempted suicide. Nasyrova was rushed to a hospital and survived, remembering only a hovering, baked-treat giving acquaintance nearby as she passed out.
Apparently Nasyrova's passport and other critical identification/work enabling paperwork had been stolen from her apartment, and the cheesecake giver looks an awful lot like Nasyrova. Someone is in custody. Hope it is the right one.
