From the publication Forward comes this revelation: Marshmallow Peeps are Jewish!

Just as ironic as the fact that "White Christmas" was written by a Jewish composer named Irving Berlin, Peeps, those famously neon-colored marshmallow Easter treats, are also produced by Jews.
