Florida Man Arrested In Package Bomb Case

The U.S. Justice Department told reporters today that a man in Florida is in custody in connection with mailing of pipe bombs to political opponents of Donald Trump.

Multiple news outlets report that a man in Florida in his 50s, near Miami, has been taken into custody for questioning in the mail bomb case.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.

DOJ announced the arrest of a suspect shortly after President Trump said on Twitter that the focus on the "bomb stuff" was unfortunate because it was hurting Republicans in the midterm election. "News not talking politics!"
