Downtown Disney's WonderGround Gallery shutters, Galaxy's Edge merch fills space

WonderGround Gallery, the best place to shop in Anaheim's Downtown Disney (imo), has just closed its doors in favor of a Galaxy Edge's pop-up.

Trader Josh and Trader Dave of @EnchantedTikiBar write that the WonderGround space has been converted into a Star Wars Trading Post and that all of the artist-created merchandise has been replaced with Galaxy's Edge products.

The OCR reports:

Disneyland has temporarily set aside its commitment to immersive storytelling experiences in favor of offloading some Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge merchandise gathering dust while the coronavirus keeps the gates closed at the Anaheim theme park…

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge merchandise will be available in the Disney owned and operated WonderGround Gallery for the foreseeable future, according to Disney officials. The WonderGround Gallery will return to Downtown Disney at a later date.

Disney once boasted that the merchandise sold in Galaxy's Edge would be exclusively available in the Star Wars land. But COVID-19 has changed everything…
