FDA to approve emergency use of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine

During an appearance on ABC News this morning, Health and Human Services Director Alex Azar said the FDA intends to grant Emergency Use Authorization to Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine.

The EUA could be issued as early as Saturday.

This means distribution of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine and vaccinations could begin in the United States as soon as Monday or Tuesday of next week. — Read the rest
